When I need someone to speak, you were with me,

When I need someone to laugh, you were with me,

When I need someone to blame, you were with me,

When I need someone to soothe, you were with me,

You showered your affection,

You fired your anger,

You protected through your care,

From time of birth, till now when I need something,

You were behind it!

When you left me alone all of sudden,

I thought you didn’t like me.

When you asked me decide on my life,

I thought you didn’t care for my life,

When you maintained distance with me,

I thought you are no more in my life,

But if you wouldn’t have done this,

I wouldn’t have learnt about life,

It took some time for me to understand you,

In my twenty years of life on this earth,

When I turn back,

I could see only one person behind all my way!

He is person of my faith,

He is person of my dreams,

He is a special person,

He is my Father!!
